Obviously, since July 2007, we are now a non-smoking premises. We have 3 bars downstairs and a restaurant on the first floor. All menus are made available, wherever you choose to sit and our specials boards are always filled with the catch of the day, succulent steaks and other tempting delights.

For the warmer times of year, we also have tables and seating at the front of the pub, as well as the our large beer garden situated at the rear of the pub, adjacent to our car park. We will also bring your meal to you if you decide to sit on the Green from which you will be able to see the activity of the town and watch the world go by!

Our establishment is featured in the "Good Beer Guide" and we were also featured in the September 8th issue of "The Publican", nominated as one of the top 20 pubs in the UK and listed as one of the top 200 UK Public Houses of 2005
