We often cater for birthdays, weddings and other occasions. Our restaurant upstairs comfortably seats aproximately 50 people for a more formal sit down gathering and significantly more bodies if it a more casual party with a buffet. We can also arrange a DJ if required.

We often cater for coach parties, as among other reasons, Winston Churchill’s home “Chartwell”, Hever & Penshurst are just a few of the tourist attractions that are a just a short distance from us. We would love to cater for your groups and look after your driver for any future trips you may have passing through our way. There are Coach parking facilities located at Darenth Car Park at the bottom of Vicarage Hill, also on the A25.

As well as our bars and restaurant, we have seating at the front of the house and also have a large peaceful beer garden at the rear of the building.

When possible, especially for large numbers, we do ask parties to pre-order their food, to ensure efficient service.

We are situated in the town, on the Green – By Churchill’s Statue – not to be confused with The Grasshopper Inn, just outside of town.
